The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) on Tuesday (19/10) again destroyed narcotics evidence. This included 465,005,217 grams of methamphetamine, 113,710 grams of marijuana, and 1001.7 grams of MDMB-4-en-PINACA.
The destruction of evidence for the eighth time is the result of the disclosure of 10 different cases. These included arrests and searches in Jakarta on August 20 and September 13, Palu-Central Sulawesi on September 2, Bengkalis-Riau on September 3, integrated sea interdiction operations in Aceh and Rokan Hilir-Riau, and drug package operations from the Netherlands in Jakarta. .
Head of BNN Petrus Reinhard Golose said before being destroyed, all this evidence had been tested in the laboratory by officers from the Narcotics Laboratory Center of BNN. “This extermination is a form of transparency and accountability of BNN to the public as mandated by law,” he added.
For his actions the suspects in ten different cases were charged with various articles in Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
After the destruction of the evidence, the Central Commander of the TNI Military Police (Danpuspom TNI) Rear Admiral (Laksda) TNI Dr. Nazali Lempo who came to visit the BNN headquarters expressed his support for jointly eradicating narcotics abuse and illicit trafficking. [iy/em]
