Prison Transfer and the Controversy over the High U.S. Incarceration Rate

Some prison scenes from the movie “Ocean’s 8” and the series “Orange is the New Black” were shot in authentic locations, although they no longer function as prisons. The location is a converted former prison, and is an example of how a closed prison can still be useful.
