Sunisa Lee-The First Hmong Olympic Athlete in the US

The return of Sunisa Lee, an athlete who won gold, silver and bronze medals in the Tokyo Olympics gymnastics, to her hometown was warmly welcomed by residents of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Suni’s success is the result of the mutual cooperation of the Hmong community, who fled to the US from Southeast Asia after the Vietnam War.
