Son Heung-Min’s Spurs Career Dream Lasts

Tottenham Hotspur’s attacking ambition, Son Heung-min, to win a gold medal to avoid military service that could threaten his career almost failed during the thrilling match against Uzbekistan, Monday (27/8).

The points for the South Korean soccer team were already behind with 15 minutes remaining before Hwang Ui-jo scored a hat-trick which resulted in extra time. Hwang Ui-jo’s late penalty kick was enough to bring Korea through.
